Data Scientist – Retail & Logistics Analytics
About Us:
With over 18 years of experience in data analytics, we’ve built vast data pipelines and utilized sophisticated analytical models to generate valuable insights. However, we’ve identified a critical gap—our insights must be actionable for frontline decision-makers. Store managers, the backbone of retail operations, need more than dashboards; they need clear, data-driven guidance that translates directly into effective action. Our mission is to bridge this gap and deliver meaningful, practical insights that empower retail and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement machine learning models for demand forecasting, customer segmentation, and anomaly detection.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that improve operational decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams, business stakeholders, and store managers to translate analytical outcomes into practical solutions.
- Optimize supply chain processes and logistics strategies through data-driven approaches.
- Continuously improve data models and algorithms to enhance prediction accuracy and business value.
- Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in clustering, time-series forecasting, and anomaly detection.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, data wrangling, and model deployment.
- Industry experience in retail and/or logistics analytics is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with supply chain optimization models.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing and stream analytics.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to convey technical concepts to business users.
What We Offer:
- The opportunity to work on impactful projects that directly influence business decisions.
- A collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Professional growth and development opportunities.
- Flexible work arrangements and a competitive compensation package.
